Project: Ecofriendly Ganpati making Workshop

There is need to  inculcate responsibility towards the environment especially relevant during festivals,when in the frenzy and euphoria of festivities,the environment wellbeing may get compromised.Ecofriendly Ganpati making workshop was organized in Khadki Education Society. Keeping the environment in mind, an Eco Friendly Ganpati making workshop was held at Khadki Education Society’s Chetan Gaikwad English Medium School. 50 children attended the workshop, conducted by Priti Lokhande. Priti taught the children how to make Ganpati with “Shadu Maati “. Prizes were given for the best Ganpati. Secretary Kirti Kelkar and Ann Simi Sethia tried their hand too! Wo

Project: Autism Project

RC KHADKI DIST 3131 (AUTISM TRAINING & RESEARCH CENTRE) Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by impaired social interaction, impaired verbal and non-verbal communication, and restricted and repetitive behavior.

The Autism spectrum disorder, its recognition as a massive growing problem, its impact on and within society and the need to address it on a war footing especially in India are the focus of ensuing words.

  1. The autism spectrum disorder and its management has become an urgent community need.
  2. The latest statistics show that about one in every seventy individuals belong to this group.
  3. In India there is no organized central approach

Project: Earlyact Club Installation

In keeping with the school’s philosophy of preparing young children to be well adjusted,responsible citizens of tomorrow the school has inducted the spirit of Rotary in the young minds.Formation of the Earlyact Club is a testimony of this belief.The Installation of the new team for the year 2019-20 of Earlyact Club of Pumpkin Patch School was held on 26th August.The Earlyact Club has a strength of 55 members. The new team was installed by President Virendra Sheorain. The newly elected President, Vice President and Secretary spoke about their vision for the year 2019-20. It was heartwarming to hear such young children talk so confidently! Members present were Rtn. Project: Enrichment day Khadki Education Society

Four events were conducted in Khadki Education Society that were beneficial and informative for the students. 

  • Eye Check-Up: for students of Khadki Education Society in collaboration with Moolani’s Eye Care Centre. Dr. Samita Moolani, along with her team examined 105 students of these , 45 students were diagnosed with some corrective and remedial issues and advised follow up treatments.
  • Ms. Ria Deshpande, a PhD student at the University of California, Irvine conducted a motivational interactive session with both Marathi and English medium students of the School at Khadki Education Society.
